Oh wow! This looks really interesting! It's been a while since I drew any "Inu-Yasha" fan arts. Thank you so very much, Antoni. "Inu-Yasha" is one of my favorite manga series.
I hope you can join this.
That is very thoughtful, as well as kind of you!! I will check it out soon, Antoni! Thanks again!!
I must say I am disappointed with the amount and quality of feedback I received. I gritted my teeth and did my best to come up with substantive and objective commentary on the picture of yours while the one thing I got in return was that I should capitalize words like mum and dad, which is not really an equivalent exchange.
I try to be the man of my word and it hurts me to see that some people say one thing and do another.
I'm really sorry, and things have gotten busy with upcoming art exhibits. It is very much appreciated for your input on my manga artwork. Will do much better to be more constructive in my critics of your stories. As both an artist and a writer I feel that adding in more backstory to the characters makes them feel much more believable. The characters were interesting, yet they felt half-baked in the first chapter. One rule that I've learned is less is more. You want to show, NOT tell a story, which also seriously bothered me.
I keep my promises as well, and I'm sorry for causing any misunderstandings.
It's a relief that I must withdraw my accusations but I hope you understand that after two months of silence I had my doubts. Wish you luck with the exhibits. If the story doesn't bore you, what would you say to extension of our little exchange: for each comment on one of my chapters I could give you feedback on a chosen picture of yours... or perhaps yet something else? You said you're a writer as well but I don't see any texts in your gallery.
I am very much aware that the beginning of the story is rushed but thank you for an honest opinion. It's one of the things I'll have to rewrite in the first place. Still, I tried to flesh the main characters more in the subsequent chapters so I'd be happy to find out if it helps my case. Show, don't tell rule is another thing I'd have to familiarize myself with. It seems my meticulosity may be a double-edged sword after all.
