One of the things I enjoy the most about a 2" x 3" mini drawing is you get a chance to play around with the color schemes. It took me 3 days to finish coloring in this little gem. My mom told me she noticed a lot of improvement in my choices of the colors when she saw this tiny pic, and my X-Men OC! 
These 2 are Elaine Canning, a young human woman who gets carried off by the young harpy male, Ceyleus in the hopes of she will be his mate when the time is right. I wanted to convey Elaine is pretty shocked to suddenly discover there are mythological creatures such as ancient Grecian harpies looking as if they've come right off of the illustrations in her favorite Greek art books and books. Ceyleus returns from an errand to bring his future mate a present of a wild flower which only grows on the very well-hidden island which the Seatide Flock of harpies call home. Memphis as an early teenager, and gargoyle warrior-in-training goes to Greece and Rome for the entire summer vacation to train with both of his uncles, Lion, leader of the Athens Clan, and Saber, leader of the Rome Clan. Matt begins to become curious, and studious about what might be an undiscovered island with a traditional ancient Grecian harpy flock. He's always been encouraged by his adoptive family, the Dinosaur Crusaders and the Sun Razor Flock, the Panner family, and teachers to learn more about the creatures around him. Will Memphis find the truth of what he seeks, and in recovering his set of swords made out of the Stormwing steel feathers as a bon voyage gift from his god parents, Lord Keldash Mountainblade and his mate, Acrackli Icestar found by Elaine?
Any Greek names for the other 3 harpies would be very much appreciated. The dusky chocolate skinned female harpy sitting on a new egg is Tiger-eye, who is getting a flower from her mate with the clay rose feathers.
I wanted the vibrant colors of a young harpy warrior, Ceyleus to stand out from the rest of the unmated male harpies. Elaine's light cocoa cheeks are a bit flushed from the straight-forward manner in Ceyleus's wooing.

Wow i didn't think you were using a MALE Harpy! that is so cool! once again i love the details and i like how you went more bird with the tengu than human, sense most of the times people make them humans with wings
